Sunflower "Tinwork"

True township art comes to life in these large, intriguing sunflowers made from recycled tin. Craftsmen in Cape Town make this great sunflower from old soda cans and other scrap metal products. The petals of the "Sunflower" are painted yellow, the stem and leaves are colored green to make these flowers look particularly realistic.

Of course, all of these flowers are made entirely by hand from recycled materials. Each copy is therefore unique - and real proof of the ingenuity of the South African township residents.
