Happiness and the joy of the birth of a new baby - this is what this abstract stone sculpture depicting a mother and her child radiates. Purely handmade in Kenya, each sculpture is made from soapstone. So you don´t get no mass-produced goods from China, but a real unique sculpture from an artist in Africa.

Art of soapstone

Artfully, the abstract characters are worked out from the soft soapstone. Although all the sculptures are similar, each is unique and distinctive. An ideal gift idea for a mother giving birth.

Artwork available in different colours

Due to the natural colour of the soapstone the decorative stone sculptures are available in two different colours. Please make your choice between beige and pale pink in the product options.

Please note that each figure is made entirely by hand. Slight differences in size, colours and design in comparison to the images and descriptions are possible.
