A gorgeous, beautiful and typical African decoration is this closed calabash, which can also be used as an exceptional rhythm instrument.

Calabashes with sophisticated, customized design

The dried gourds are painted in Kenya in most sophisticated hand work, with incised patterns and also have small metal applications. Pictures of African animals adorn each of these deco objects that can be used as an instrument.

Calabash in different versions to choose from

Since this is a natural product, which is decorated by hand, each gourd is unique. But you have the possibility to choose between different versions:

  • without feet
  • with feet (ideal for the use as a flower vase)

Please note that this is a natural product that is processed entirely by hand. Variations in size, patterns, shapes and colours with regard to images and descriptions are quite the rule.
