This African basket is unique - it has been elaborately hand crafted by South African artists. The bottom has been worked flat, so that the basket will stand in an upright position.

Traditionally, the Zulu tribe in South Africa uses "ukhambas" for the storage of home brewed beer. Over here, however, the elaborately braided "beer-basket" makes a nice decoration in your home.
