This head of a buffalo, handcrafted from wood, is a very unusual eye-catcher. Whether in the hallway, in the living room or in the bedroom: the hand-carved buffalo's head brings you closer to the African savannah in no time at all.

Buffalo head made of flamed jacaranda wood

The approx. 36 cm wide animal head is carved in Kenya from the light wood of the jacaranda tree and elaborately decorated before it is given the final burnt wood look. This treatment causes the jacaranda wood to darken significantly and creates attractive color contrasts between light and dark parts of the wall decoration.

The Kenyan craftsmen have conveniently provided the buffalo´s head with a hanging option on the back, so that apart from a hammer and nail you will probably not need any other tools to attach the wall decoration.

Please note that this decorative buffalo head wall decoration is entirely handmade from Kenya. Each animal head is individually carved from the natural material wood and then finished. Therefore, deviations from the text and images in terms of size, shape, colors etc. are the rule rather than the exception.
