These beautiful Namji dolls from Cameroon are modeled on the traditional Namjii dolls of the same tribe, which were decorated with numerous cowrie snails and wrapped with coloured glass bead strands. Figures of this type have been used to increase fertility in young women as well as to prevent damage.

The traditional rag dolls are richly decorated with coloured beads and various cowrie snails on their head. The pretty, handmade dolls are available in different colours. Please make your choice in the product option section.

Entirely handmade from Cameroon

Each collectible doll is made by Cameroon artists by hand. Hence, there may be small variations in terms of size, colours, shapes and designs to the images and descriptions. The height of the dolls can vary up to 3 cm.
