Exclusive wooden mask "Tikar"

This beautiful mask features finely detailed brass ornaments on the eyes and forehead and was carved by an artist of light wood. Tikar masks with their ritual scars and formal hairstyles are in great demand.

Decorative mask made from Koutom wood

This man's mask made of a light wood surprises with unusually arched cheekbones and expressive mouth. Elegantly carved with scars on the cheeks in the same pattern. The upper eyelids and the middle of the forehead are inlaid with brass.

Masks of this type are used in agricultural festivals, such as harvesting ceremonies. The basic concept of these rituals was the belief that the ground is sacred because it belonged to the ancestors. Once the harvest is good, there is a reason to celebrate and be grateful to them.

Mask for hanging or standing

You can use the Tikar mask as a fine wall decoration. If you really want to set them up in a representative way, we recommend that you also order the appropriate stand along with the mask. The stands were made exclusively for us from iron steel nature and are adapted exactly for your mask. This is how the beauty of this African mask comes into its own.
