This braided Zulu basket is not only a great decoration item but also a real artwork.

Made of plaited Ilala palms artfully this traditional basketwork with a lid stands out through its great patterns and the exact workmanship. The container in question is unique and was made in extensive handcraft by South African artists. The ground was levelled a little bit so you can put the Africa basket uprightly.

Traditionally "ukhambas" were used at the Zulu tribe to store self made beer. Round here the artful basketwork from Kwazulu-Natal is perfectly suited as decoration object on a table or sideboard.  With this stunning Zulu basket you get a great piece of traditional  South Africa as decoration to your home.
