Exclusive African mask "Elephant King", Bamoun tribe, single piece

A very extraordinary art object represents this mask made of Koutom-wood, which originates from Cameroon and makes the heart of every collector and Africa fans beat a bit faster.

Decorative mask made from Koutom wood

This beautiful mask has been carved from a special hardwood tree by an artist from the tribe of Baboun (or Babun) in the form of an elephant and lavishly decorated with white shells.

The Bamun live mainly in the so-called Bamun Plateau in the west of Cameroon, in a fertile grassland of volcanic origin at a height of about 1200 m.

The mask "Elephant King" is used by the Bamoun in Cameroon during the transition of the regency from the father to the son in the throne of royal families.

Mask for hanging or revolting

You can use the Bamoun mask as a precious wall decoration. If you really want to show it in a representative way, we recommend that you directly order the appropriate stand along with the mask. The stands were made exclusively for us in natural steel iron and will be manually perfectly adapted for your mask. So the beauty of this African mask comes to its advantage.
