A winery with an excellent reputation: Boschendal

The Boschendal winery is one of the oldest wineries in South Africa. Founded in 1685 by the French Jean Le Long, the brothers Pierre, Abraham and Jacques de Villier, who bought the property in 1714, helped him to gain a reputation.

In the cellar, built in 1795, the great Franschhoek wines are produced using the most modern technology. In 2004 Boschendal was voted producer of the year at the "International Wine & Spirit Competition".

White wine for connoisseurs

The Grand Cuvée is composed of 92% Sauvignon Blanc and 8% Semillon. The selected grapes come from the best locations in the Franschhoek Valley. Thanks to a long, cool growth phase, the grapes make this wine extremely complex.
